Thought Of The Day
“The ordainer controls the fate of souls in accordance with their parabdha Karma.
Whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may.
Whatever is destined to happen will happen, do what you may to prevent it.
This is certain. The best course... is to remain silent.”

When Rod Stewart wooed Las Vegas crowds with an Irish rebel song “Grace”

Rod Stewart delighted the audience with a rendition of this Irish rebel song.

The 73-year-old music icon belted out the iconic song, which tells the tragic love story involving an Irish republican during the 1916 Easter Rising.

“Grace” refers to Grace Gifford, who married her childhood sweetheart and rebel fiancé Joseph Mary Plunkett in prison, mere hours before his death by firing squad for his part in the Rising.
