The earth’s biodiversity is nowdays and more than ever threatened. Species and habitats are quickly disappearing as a direct consequence of human activity. The destruction of natural habitats, the introduction of alien species, the human-generated pollution, the  over-exploitation and the global climate change are some of the main factors of biodiversity loss.  This section is dedicated to articles about these endangered species.
