Thought Of The Day
“If I have harmed anyone, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions, I ask forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions, I forgive them.
And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive, I forgive myself for that
For all the ways that I harm myself, negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions, I forgive myself.”

What is Shamanism?

One who does not devote one hour to himself every day is not a person, and to help someone
out of the mud one must be willing to get mud on himself.

David Bakan.

Shamanism is humanity’s most ancient tradition regarding healing, solving problems in regard to keeping in harmony with nature, society and other people. Traditionally a shaman is a person who can change their state of consciousness at will in order to journey to other realities to obtain power and knowledge for themselves and others.

We run a weeklong retreat every summer, incorporating many Shamanic practices. Find out more here.

Therefore the Shamanic Path can help those seeking to develop their own personal empowerment as well as learn practices to support others in their healing and spiritual development.
Shamanic Practices can bring us into deep relationship with ourselves, nature and all life forms and in this way receive significant knowledge about ourselves and others.

Through drumming, rattling or dancing the Shaman practitioner can enter a state of consciousness in which he or she can connect with power animals and spirit guides.
